Meet Meg.

Meg Tyner Physical Therapy is dedicated to finding the cause of your pain and helping you meet your goals. Dr. Tyner will work with you to develop an integrated, individualized treatment plan; under direct and consistent supervision, Dr. Tyner will prescribe tailored exercises and personally oversee your workouts to get you back to full function. Throughout your care at Tyner Physical Therapy treatment is strictly one on one and hands on for 45-60 minutes. That is more one-on-one time than industry standards! Dr. Tyner received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University. She received her bachelor’s of science degree in athletic training from The George Washington University, where she also was a four year starter on the divsion I Women’s Varsity Tennis Team. In 2013 Meg became an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, specializing in preventative exercise, functional movement, and weight loss.

During Dr. Tyner’s time at NYU, she gained valuable experience in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, preventative care, and adult rehabilitation. While attaining her Docotorate of Physical Therapy at NYU, Dr. Tyner was apart of the NYU Sports Medicine staff as a Certified Athletic Trainer.

Throughout Dr. Tyner’s career as a personal trainer, certified athletic trainer, and doctor of physical therapy Meg has gained experience working with a variety of musculoskeletal disorders and has special interest in sports rehab, performance training, manual therapy, post-operative rehabilitation, shoulder and spine pathologies.

Dr. Tyner is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. In her free time, Dr, Tyner stays active playing intramural tennis, weightlifting and cycling. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends and traveling abroad.
