Jason D'Amelio joins the ARC Athletics Staff following a four year stint with the Columbia University Sports Medicine Department, as the head athletic trainer for the wrestling, volleyball and crew teams. During the past two summers D'Amelio has traveled to Cuba with USA Fencing at the Grand Prix World Championships as the team athletic trainer.D’Amelio started his professional career with the New York Giants organization, where he was a seasonal intern from 1996-99 and in 2002-03.
During his time away from the New York Giants, D'Amelio was in Tampa, Florida as an athletic trainer in the New York Yankees minor league organization. Following his master’s degree work he spent a season as an athletic trainer with the Cleveland Browns from 2000-2001.

In 2001, he was an assistant athletic trainer for the National Football League of Europe, working with the Dusseldorf-Rhein Fire team in Germany.
D'Amelio is a 1998 graduate of William Paterson University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in physical education. He also earned a master's degree in kinesiology in 2000 from Michigan State University.D’Amelio, a native of New Jersey, resides in Manhattan and is actively involved in the Brazilian form of martial arts called Capoeria.
