Gene is currently working with Columbia University as an athletic trainer with their club sports teams such as men's rugby, women's rugby and men's lacrosse. Gene is an American Red Cross First Aid and CPR instructor with AED and an Examiner for the NATABOC certifying exam for athletic trainers. Gene himself is no stranger to athletic accomplishment. He has completed multiple marathons, including The ING New York City Marathon. Gene earned two undergraduate degrees from Purdue University (Athletic Training and Health Education) and holds a masters degree from Columbia University's Teachers College in Physical Education. Gene currently serves as the Past - President of Purdue Club of New York City.
